The Books of the Project: Baerlie and Red-Nosed

In 2019 during the Corona Lockdowns project Baerlie and Red-Nosed started. So far, three books have been published in German and two in English. There are YouTube videos  in English and German for the first volume.

Details and links to the Baerlie and Red-Nosed project can be found here.

Baerlie and Red-Nosed, Book 1

Baerlie and Red-Nosed is lovingly illustrated by Michael Stefer and humorously written by Helga Kleisny: In Corona times, an aircraft captain and an aviation journalist combine the charm of Janosch drawings, the illustrious world of Alice in Wonderland and the wisdom of The Little Prince in one book.

Baerlie and Red-Nosed Take Off, Book 2

This is the second book of the trilogy: Baerlie and Red-Nosed. The whole project is about respect and friendship – regardless of whether the participants are extremely tall, very short, heavy, on the light side, gray-haired or green-spotted. Diversity enriches all of our lives.

“Fear," says the pilot with a smile, "is a very useless emotion. It paralyzes and limits your abilities tremendously. Respect for the forces of nature and physics is good and necessary."
